3 billion rubles will be invested in the construction of the Radisson Collection Sochi Hotel

Investments in the construction of the Radisson Collection Hotel in the territory of the former Krasmashevskiy Sanatorium in Sochi will amount to up to 3 billion rubles, the Head of the AR Group, a development group, Ayk Zebelyan, told journalists.

According to him, construction work will begin at the end of this autumn. The opening of the Radisson Collection Sochi Hotel is scheduled for 2024. It will become the second hotel in Sochi and the third one in Russia under the Radisson Collection brand. The number of rooms will be 144.

The Krasmashevskiy Sanatorium was built in the 1930s in the Modernized Neo-Classical Architecture Style. It initially belonged to the Leningrad Department of Health and was later transferred to the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant; it was named after Sergey Kirov. Since the 2000s, the sanatorium ceased receiving guests. This is a cultural heritage site, which is currently being restored by AR Group, a Sochi developer. Grand Royal Residence, a complex of apartments with a park area of 4 hectares, is planned to open here.

The portfolio of Radisson Hotel Group includes nine brands and more than 1.6 thousand hotels operating and being under construction in 120 countries. There are 43 operating and preparing for the commission hotels with almost 11 thousand rooms in Russia.
