A five-star hotel under the management of a South Korean brand will appear in Sochi

The Vice-Governor, Aleksander Ruppel, and the Head of the City, Aleksey Kopaygorodskiy, signed the relevant agreement with the investor.

The signing took place as part of a meeting with investors who implement major projects in the tourism sector in Sochi.

As part of the meeting, an agreement on the construction of the "Lotte Hotel Sochi" hotel complex under the management of HOTEL LOTTE Co., a South Korean hotel operator, was signed. Currently, the chain operates 33 luxury hotels in South Korea, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, and the United States. Sochi will become the fifth city of the company's presence in Russia.

The document was signed by Aleksander Ruppel; Aleksey Kopaygorodskiy, the Head of Sochi; Anna Nevzorova, the Director of Metropolis LLC, and Tae Hong Kim, the General Director of Lotte Rus JSC. As part of the agreement, it is planned to construct a 5-star hotel complex with 310 rooms with outdoor pools, a restaurant and a lobby bar, a beauty salon, a congress center for events, and parking in the Riviera Park area in the central part of Sochi.

– The implementation of the project will allow to better satisfy the growing needs of tourists for high-quality and comfortable rest, create healthy competition and stimulate the development of the hotel business, and also contribute to creating a positive image of Sochi and the Krasnodar Region as a whole, – Aleksander Ruppel considers.
